Dr. Phani Sharma was an entrepreneur par excellence, a social worker and a passionate sports lover. But it was his love for sports which inspired him in all his other pursuits. His ceaseless endeavours in the field of sports enabled many a promising player to rise to the heights of their potential, several of whom have claimed top honours and made not only the State, but also the Nation proud through their performances. His vision culminated in the founding of a trust which was funded from his various enterprises.

His effort, however, was to promote promising sports talent among the lesser privileged social strata. During his life time he supported several players, sports organizations and clubs.

Dr.Sharma’s immense contribution to the world of sports will continue  via this trust formed by his family members to devote the same level of commitment and to take his dream forward.

A small contribution of every ticket sale from Anuradha Cinema Hall is donated to the trust by his family members.
